a) To create opportunities for youngsters from all backgrounds to play football both with their schools and in sports facilities, with the emphasis placed on skills development.

b) To encourage participation in football from parts of the community that traditionally has had less opportunity.

c) To create an awareness of the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and of keeping fit in mind and body through playing football and being involved in outdoor pursuits.

d) To support volunteers involved in the process and to recognise, develop and accredit those people with responsibility for developing the talent that exists locally.

e) To use football as a means of developing social and team building skills.

f) To help our community to become a safer place to live and work by encouraging youngsters to take part in constructive, and enjoyable activities in a safe environment
