I think everybody across the league would have looked at that fixture today and thought, pressure on us to go and win it. There's an expectation there from everybody and it's never that easy, is it? You know, these have got 24 points this season, they've picked them up off somebody. I wanted to make sure today it wasn't us.
And I thought, other than literally the penalty in the 93rd minute, I don't think we've really given them a sniff. They had one little toe poke at the back post, which KP got down to, but other than that, a professional performance.
Again, we scored at good times. Probably didn't start the game that well. The first 15 minutes, they probably had the territory.
When you've got players like ours up front in Kevin, Andrew, and Jaanai, it only takes really one chance on the break to get us away, and we've done it again today. (We) scored that first goal, that settled us down.
And it's about managing the game. Again, the football wasn't perfect, but when you take the advantage and you go a goal up, it's probably more important to be a bit more low risk, and I think the only time that maybe we did look vulnerable was when we gave the ball away.
So, we managed it well. Nice to get the third goal that sort of sealed it for us. Excellent again from Bastos, who's come to the party, hasn't he, the last couple of weeks? And that's obviously made a big difference to us.
The bench was strong again today. It's difficult leaving lads out, but we've got a job to do and that's three important points for us, and again, it's now in our hands going into the last game.
