I don't know what it's like in all the other games across the country, but (the wind) made it really tough for both sides. I think there's probably one good chance for each team in the game.
Other than that, I think there's nothing in it. You know, it's just an up and under game, heading, kicking, everything, meeting everything on the full on the volleys and trying to grind something out. I know it sounds daft about how many draws we've had, but in isolation, that's a decent point.
You know, we've come to a really good team again. And, you know, last week I was disappointed, not even just in the result, but in the performance levels and the attitude levels and desire levels. Today, you can't question any of that because that's one of the games, you know, if you want to go missing, you can go missing in that one.
And all our lads stood up, defended properly, and we just take the point, we run, and we move on to the next one. Five games left, it's getting tight, but, you know, it's all to play for.
Well, I think we're going to come up against the most hardworking team in the league (next Saturday). I've got a lot of respect for Stocksbridge and what they do and how they go about their business.
I say every week we have to be absolutely at it. There's no way we can be in second gear. We can't carry three or four players out of six out of ten. We've all got to be eights and nines next week.
So, it's rest up, we'll prepare obviously in the week, but they're the games we want to be having. I think we might have dropped out of the play offs today in terms of other results, I'm not sure. But that's a game that, on the horizon, we always felt we were going to have to try and win it, and it's no different after today.
We're still quite in the mix. It's going to take a good run to get us over the line and we're capable. We've just got to try and find that finishing touch, maybe a little bit of luck.
But it's a clean sheet away from home, and I think we always say you take the point in the North East. We haven't been beaten in the North East this season.
So, we're doing a lot of stuff really well, but we just need that last little bit.
That's all it is.
