Heaton are based in Newcastle just north of the River Tyne and are the Nailers’ second longest away trip of the season.
Relegated Bradford Park Avenue are the first visitors to the Raygar Stadium on Tuesday 13th August, and newly promoted Emley provide the opposition away on Saturday 20th August.
Another promoted side Sherwood Colliery are the August Bank Holiday fixture again away from the Raygar Stadium, and the Nailers will visit Garforth Town on Saturday October 26th who are another club making the step up this season.
The Nailers go to Consett and Ashington in consecutive weekends (2nd and 9th November) and then host Bishop Auckland at the Raygar on Saturday 23rd November who complete the five promoted clubs.
The Nailers travel to Sheffield F C on Boxing Day and then host Sherwood Colliery on New Years Day. Sheffield come to Belper on Easter Monday while the season ends with a trip to Bridlington on Saturday 26th April.
There will be an additional four clubs competing this season (22) which increases the number of games played from 38 to 42.
The NPL have confirmed that there will be just one automatic promotion place, with a second coming through the play offs.
